Lillian has a friend!

We happened to meet a couple who has a baby only 3 days younger than Lillian.  I think they will become good friends :)

Beach Day

Lillian's second trip to the beach was much more successful! She played in the sand as shown in the video below and we even got her in the ocean by the end of our trip.  She didn't really cry as much just whimpered when the water touched her.  It was understandable since it was cold out there! (but not as cold as the Pacific)

new milestones

Lillian is crawling but she prefers the army crawl and she is pretty quick at it too! She kind of pulls herself up but I find she uses her legs more than her arms. She can keep herself standing if I help her up on an object. She recently figured out how to go from a crawling position to a sitting position again.



Lillian is a FANTASTIC eater! She eats 3 solid meals a day and can even eat finger foods.

First trip to the beach

Lillian was NOT a happy camper at the beach when we first got there. She is usually such a curious baby that I didn't think twice about just sitting her down in the sand and putting her feet in the ocean. To our surprise, she was very hesitant. She didn't like the sand on her and we had to play with her toys and put sand on me for a while before she'd even touch it. The ocean was cold but she cried before we even put her near the water. By the end of our trip she at least wouldn't cry when Greg carried her to the water just to watch the waves crash along the shore. We did get some great photos though! At the end of the day we went to Ocean City and Lillian had her first carousel ride. :)
